LO4: Evidence of editing and exporting

As we recorded content straight onto garage band most the content was already in place, to edit we also used garage band to move and cut clips to that they fit and conversation between the presenters flowed. next we added sound effects and music, these were added from the garage band gallery. We used these sounds in both adverts and Kaidawg rap.  Finally we imported music track as that is what our radio show is about, we downloaded these from YouTube  and inserted a 10 second clip into our radio show. By editing in the music this helped us meet the convention of our show, this is because our show is mainly based around music and so it would not fit the purpose without any music in it, we also choice up-to-date pop music which fits with our target audience of teenagers as this is the music they are likely to listen to. Our jingle that we edited using upbeat music and sound effects can help get the audiences energy up, this is because our show is a drivetime show and so the audience their energy boosted after a day at school/college or work.

When exporting we first had export off GarageBand into audition, this was to change the audio levels due to the microphone, we had to change this so that the sound came our of both sides not just one, we did this by extracting the channels to mono files in audition. Next in order to upload this to youtube it needed to be converted into MP4 and so had to be exported out of premier as an MP4.
